The journey begins in Cairo, where you trade the city’s skyline for the rolling dunes of the Bahariya Oasis. After exploring the Golden Mummies, you’ll head into the sparkling Crystal Mountain. The true highlight is camping in the White Desert, a surreal National Park where wind-carved chalk formations like the “Chicken and Mushroom” glow under the stars.

Continuing south, you’ll pass through the quiet Farafra Oasis—home to the unique Badr Museum—and reach Dakhla, famous for the medieval mud-brick town of Al-Qasr and the Roman temple of Deir el-Hagar. The final desert stop is Kharga, the largest oasis, where you can explore the ancient Bagawat Necropolis, one of the world’s best-preserved early Christian cemeteries.
