Day 1Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be assisted through Cairo Airport formalities and provided with Entry Visa by our local English speaking representative. Transfer to a Cairo hotel .

Day 2Cairo

After breakfast, meet your Language speaking Tour guide who will escort you on an unforgettable tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza one of the Seven World Wonders. They are among the world’s greatest tourist attractions and never lose their ability to inspire and overwhelm visitors. Your Tour guide will enthral you with the information about the tales told of the fascinating figure of the Sphinx.

Ask your Tour guide if you want to enter the pyramids and see what is inside it…

 

Lunch during the tour in a local restaurant.

Drive along a picturesque rural area to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom, to view the colossal reclining statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

Proceed to the necropolis of Sakkara to view the step Pyramid of Zoser; the first freestanding stone structure in the world. Ask your Tour guide to enter and see inside Zoser Pyramid. Amhoteb museum  contains Onas & TTi pyramids and others. Also you can see The Serapeum and 3 tombs of Ancient Egyptian nobles showing the beauty and excellence of Ancient Egyptian art on their walls and giving an insight in the daily life of Ancient Egypt.

 Visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum for a fascinating guided tour of 7,000 years of Egyptian history with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. The Museum houses the world’s greatest collection of Ancient Egyptian artefacts.

Day 3Cairo

After breakfast, meet your Language speaking Tour guide who will escort you  to visit the Citadel, the medieval fortress of Salah El Din and location of the beautiful Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali.

Visit The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization , a large museum located in Old Cairo, officially inaugurated on  April 2021, with the moving of 22 mummies, including 18 kings and four queens, from the Egyptian Museum in central Cairo.

Lunch during the tour in a local restaurant.

Roam through the ancient twisting passages of the famous 13th century Khan El Khalili Bazaar, filled with small shops and factories for all manner of crafts and goods.

Back to hotel and overnight.

Day 4Cairo - Aswan

After breakfast, you will be met by our local English speaking representative in the hotel lobby and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your short flight to Aswan. 

You will be transferred to the hotel and start the tour in Aswan.

At the granite quarries visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which was abandoned by ancient stone cutters, the Old Dam, the High Dam and the relocated Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis and her son Horus. Due to the flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam, Philae Temple was removed from its indigenous island at Philae and reassembled about 550 meters away on the Island of Agilika; it has retained some of its romantic beauty.  Unlike other temples, this temple’s elements follow a curb symbolizing the meanders of life itself. The Pavilion of Nectanabo and the Kiosk of Trajan display fine sculptures and bas-reliefs and were probably custodians of the sacred boat that ferried the goddess Isis.

Day 5Aswan – Abu Simbel - Aswan

After Breakfast, transfer to Abu Simbel by Privet air-conditioned car to visit its relocated temples built by Ramses II, 1200 BC.

The two temples face east to receive the rays of the rising sun. It is said that twice a year, the sun shines on the face of the King. Once on his birthday and once on his coronation day. It is still a mystery to archaeologists how the Ancient Egyptians could have designed and built such miraculous structures.

Back to Aswan hotel and overnight.

Day 6 Kom Ombo – Edfo - Luxor

After Breakfast, check out of the Aswan hotel to enjoy the ride to Luxor visiting Kom Ombo temple, dedicated to two deities; the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Heru-ur (Horus the Elder).

Then visit temple of Horus at Edfu which is the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period on the site of the great battle between Horus and Seth. Horus was the falcon headed god.

Arrive in Luxor, check into a hotel and overnight.

Day 7Luxor

Enjoy breakfast, before crossing the Nile to the West Bank, location of the ancient necropolis of Thebes to explore the Valley of the Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of the Kings is a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. You will visit 3 magnifying tombs. You can also visit Tut Ankh Amoun’s Tomb and see his mummy (ask your Guide )

Enjoy lunch while moored on the river bank of Luxor.

Your onboard Language speaking Tour guide will escort you on a tour of the awesome Temple of Karnak, with its huge hypostyle hall covering 50,000 square feet has 134 enormous columns, richly carved, with some thrusting skyward to 23 meters.

Travel to Luxor Temple, built during the reign of Amenhotp III and  was expanded by Ramses II who also erected two obelisks.

Back to hotel and over night.

Day 8Luxor –Dandara Cruise

Early breakfast, then depart to Iberotel Lotus Boat to enjoy the sail to Dandara temple which dates back to the Ptolemaic Period, although evidence points to older structures once existing on the site, dating as far back as King Pepy I, from the Old Kingdom. Among the temple’s most notable features are astronomical engravings on its ceiling.

Back to the boat and enjoying lunch and tea time onboard.

Arrive back to  hotel and overnight.

Day 9Luxor- Cairo

After breakfast, You will be transferred to Luxor Airport for short flight to Cairo International Airport onboard. Upon arrival you will be met and assisted to a Cairo hotel.

Day 10Alexandria

After breakfast check out of hotel and travel by land to Alexandria, a city 220 km to the north of Cairo, to visit the Greco-Roman Theatre, Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s pillar and Qaitbay Fort.

Check into  Alexamdria hotel and overnight.

Day 11Alexandria – Cairo

After breakfast, visit Alexandria Bibliotheca, the new Library of Alexandria and  the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA).  The new Bibliotheca is dedicated to recapturing the spirit of openness and scholarship of the original Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Follow this with a visit the Royal Jewellery Museum, displaying the collectibles of the Egyptian royal family, founded by Muhammad Ali Pasha in 1805 and continued to rule for 150 years, until 1952.

Free time tour at the most famous shopping mall San Stefano Mall.

Depart to go back to Cairo and overnight in Cairo hotel.

Day 12Cairo

Today you will say goodbye to the beautiful land of Kemet with many splendid memories.
