Drive along a picturesque rural area to Memphis, the capital of the old kingdom, to view the colossal reclining statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. Proceed to the necropolis of Sakkara to view the step pyramid of Zoser; the first freestanding stone structure in the world. You can ask to enter and see inside Zoser pyramid and Amhoteb Museum which contains Onas & TTi pyramids and others… Also you can see The Serapeum, and 3 tombs of Ancient Egyptian nobles showing the beauty and excellence of Ancient Egyptian art on their walls and giving an insight in the daily life of Ancient Egypt.
After breakfast, meet your Language speaking Tour guide who will escort you on a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located near the Giza Pyramids, is the largest archaeological museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization. Roam through the ancient twisting passages of the famous 13th century Khan El Khalili Bazaar, filled with small shops and factories for all manner of crafts and goods.
Return to then hotel overnight.
After breakfast, you will be met by our local English speaking representative in the hotel lobby and transferred to Cairo International Airport for your short flight to Aswan.
You will be transferred to a Nile Cruiser for a 3 nights’ cruise from the ancient city of Thebes to the land of Nubia “Aswan”, on a full board basis.
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while moored on the river bank of Aswan.
Tour the granite quarries to visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which was abandoned by ancient stone cutters, the Old Dam, the High Dam and the relocated Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis and her son Horus. Due to the flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam, Philae Temple was removed from its indigenous island at Philae and reassembled about 550 meters away on the Island of Agilika; it has retained some of its romantic beauty. Unlike other temples, this temple’s elements follow a curb symbolizing the meanders of life itself. The Pavilion of Nectanabo and the Kiosk of Trajan display fine sculptures and bas-reliefs and were probably custodians of the sacred boat that ferried the goddess Isis.

The two temples face east to receive the rays of the rising sun. It is said that twice a year, the sun shines on the face of the King; once on his birthday and once on his coronation day. It is still a mystery to archaeologists how the Ancient Egyptians could have designed and built such miraculous structures.
Return onboard for a delicious lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo.
Visit Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo.
Sail to Edfu and have dinner onboard and overnight.
Breakfast onboard, before being transport by horse ridden carriages to the Temple of Horus at Edfu that is the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period on the site of the great battle between Horus and Seth. Horus was the falcon headed god.
Return back onboard in time to sail up the river towards Esna.

Take in the wonderful scenery from the sun deck of the cruiser of the beautiful Egyptian countryside. The cruise will be crossing Esna lock.
Arrive in Luxor. The Tour guide will escort you on a tour of the awesome Temple of Karnak, with its huge hypostyle hall covering 50,000 square feet and has 134 enormous columns, richly carved with some thrusting skyward 23 meters. Transfer to Luxor Temple, built during the reign of Amenhotp III and was expanded by Ramses II who also erected two obelisks.
Return on board in time to freshen up before enjoying a delicious dinner.

Enjoy breakfast onboard before crossing the Nile to the West Bank, location of the ancient necropolis of Thebes to explore the Valley of the Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of the Kings is a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. You will visit 3 magnificent tombs. You can also visit Tut Ankh Amoun’s Tomb and see his mummy (ask your Guide about it)
